Enriched with papain (a natural fruit enzyme) and eco-friendly sugar exfoliants, it gently exfoliates to reveal smoother, refreshed-looking skin. This vegan balm is free from silicones, parabens, PEGs, mineral oils, microplastics, and artificial colors or fragrances, and developed in BABOR’s laboratories in Aachen, Germany, under the brand’s strict conscious formula standards.

This versatile peel offers two modes of application: for gentle enzymatic exfoliation, lather with warm water until the sugar dissolves, then massage and rinse. For a deeper exfoliation, apply the balm directly and massage for both enzymatic and mechanical action—leaving the skin smooth and refreshed. For an intensive peeling effect, apply to the dried face, neck, and décolleté after cleansing, preferably with the DOCTOR BABOR Refining Cleansing Oil Balm, and lather in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. Avoid the eye area. Moisten fingertips with water and massage the peeling for 3 to 5 more minutes. Re-moisten the fingers frequently so that the exfoliating particles dissolve completely. Finally, rinse off thoroughly. For a gentle, purely enzymatic peeling, later the balm in the palm of the hand adding warm water until the crystals have dissolved. Next, massage in for 3 to 5 minutes as described above and rinse off. Finally, ideally you should apply the DOCTOR BABOR Derma Filler Serum and the DOCTOR BABOR Collagen-Peptide Booster Cream.
