Online buyers beware!

This review is not about the product, which is excellent but the online ordering process. When you get to the checkout, make sure you go right to the bottom of the checkout page. After the information relating to your purchase, there is a section on a payment plan. Below that there is a "Carbon footprint" charge that is already checked; is a percentage of your purchase; and is automatically applied to your bill. I did not go beyond my purchase information and did not notice this additional charge until I carefully checked my receipt after the purchase. You have to go to the bottom of the checkout page and uncheck this charge. If you do not, you will be charged! I am sure that many people do not go to the bottom of the page and are then unknowingly charged. I find this to be an unethical business practice. An ethical practice would be to advise people of what you are doing and advising them that they can support this endeavour by checking the box. It is too bad that such good products are supported by questionable business practices! I did get the charge removed but it took me some effort to locate who I could talk with; then only part of the charge was refunded and I had to contact them again to get the rest refunded. Not an easy or pleasant experience!
